Abto values its users' privacy and has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its commitment to preserving it. Information we collect about you

We may collect your Personal Information, including Sensitive Data, as well as other data in general. Sensitive Data refers to optionally provided information such as comments or content such as images, videos, profiles, and lifestyles that may expose your ethnic origin, nationality, or religion. You consent to Abto collecting, using, and disclosing Sensitive Data following relevant privacy regulations by providing Sensitive Data to Abto. With your agreement, we will also gather your geolocation data. You authorize us to collect, process, and retain your data relating to the provision of the Service by using our app. When you submit personal information using our Service, it may be transmitted to servers in the United States and other countries across the world.

Furthermore, we gather and keep any personal information you give us when using our app or in any other way. This may include personal data like your name, address, email address, and phone number, as well as financial data if you do business with us. For basic recommendations, such as search distance, age range, and gender, we may additionally need data such as images, a personal description, and information about your gender and interests. When you register as an Abto app user, your information will be shared with other users. Other app users will be able to see your profile. Other users will have immediate access to the information you've submitted to us.

 

Personal information: Except as stated in this Privacy Policy or when we notify you and provide you the option to opt-out of having your personal information shared, we do not share your personal information with anybody. We may share personal information with the following parties:

 

Service providers: Your personal information, including financial information, may be shared with third parties who provide services on our behalf. For example- order fulfillment, ad tracking, and analytics, member screenings, supporting our Service functionality, contests, sweepstakes, performing business and sales analysis, providing customer service and marketing assistance, surveys, and other features offered through our Service. Although the services providers may have access to your personal information for their servicing functions, they are not allowed to use that information in other regards.

 

Other Circumstances: We may also release your personal information for investigation issues, defending against law enforcement, court order, practicing legal rights, or a request for cooperation from law enforcement or other government agency, or as otherwise required by law.

For creating targeted advertisements on our app, we may share your information with third parties. For example, we may work with a data provider to gather data from you, such as your IP address and device or operating system information, or to set or identify a unique cookie on your device so that you can receive personalized content. Users can set Do Not Track (DNT) as a privacy choice on their mobile devices to tell the apps and services that they don't want specific data about their page visits gathered over time and across apps and websites. We are committed to giving you meaningful choices regarding the data we gather from every user of our app, which is why we give opt-out links.

If you click on an advertisement in our app, for example, you may be directed to a website that is not under our control. If you have an Abto account, you can review and change your personal information on the Service by heading to settings and opening your account. You may have the right under applicable privacy laws to view and remedy any inaccuracies or omissions in your personal information under our control. Our Privacy Officer will help you with your access request.

 

Within the timeframes set forth by all applicable privacy regulations, we will reply to your profile requests, and try our best to reply accurately, promptly, and completely. Corrections to personal information will be notified to any organizations to whom it was disclosed as soon as possible.

We may not be able to offer access to the certain personal information we keep in rare circumstances. The Privacy Officer does not have access to all personal information for security reasons. If access or corrections are not possible, we shall notify the person who made the request in writing within 30 days of the reasons for the refusal.

 

Data retention

We only store your data for as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and as long as applicable legal obligations allow us to. When you close your account, we will keep certain data for analytical purposes and record-keeping integrity. Notifications are also sent to your mobile device using our service. You may turn off these notifications by heading to the app's App Settings or changing your mobile device's settings. Eligibility:

To utilize our service, you must be at least 21 years old to establish an account on the Abto app. You represent and warrant that by creating an account and using the Service, you will:

 

  • You can make a legally binding agreement with Abto.

  • You are not a person who is prohibited by the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction from using the Service

  • You will abide by the Agreement, as well as all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.

 

Arbitration, Class-Action Waiver, and Jury Waiver:

Except for users who reside in the European Union or the European Economic Area, and where relevant law prohibits it:

  • Binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under the Consumer Arbitration Rules shall be the sole means of resolving any dispute or claim arising out of or pertaining to this Agreement or the Service. Whether you pick small claims court or arbitration, you are not permitted to file a lawsuit or other representative action or process against the Company.

  • You agree to the above arbitration agreement by using the Service in any way. By doing so, you relinquish your right to take the Company to court to assert or defend any claims you may have against it. You also relinquish your right to take part in an event or other activity. Your rights will be evaluated by a Neutral Arbitrator rather than a judge or jury, and the arbitrator will decide any concerns concerning the arbitrariness of the dispute. You are entitled to a fair hearing in front of the arbitrator.

  • This Agreement, as well as any disagreement between you and the Abto, will be governed by the laws of the United States of America, without respect to principles of conflict of laws, with the exception of this arbitration agreement, which will be regulated by the Federal Arbitration Act.
